Your guide to a smooth, relaxing first visit at KDO Nails Studio

Whether you’re booking your very first manicure or you’re just new to our salon, we know visiting a new place can come with questions. At KDO Nails Studio, our goal is to make you feel relaxed, confident, and taken care of from the moment you walk in.

Here’s everything you need to know about what to expect during your first appointment with us — from check-in to polish.

🌟 Before You Arrive

Once your appointment is booked (either online, over the phone, or in person), you’ll receive:

A confirmation message with your appointment details
A gentle reminder 24 hours before your visit

👉 Pro tip: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early, especially if it’s your first time, so we can check you in and answer any questions.

🛎️ When You Walk In

You’ll be warmly greeted by our front desk or technician and offered a seat. We’ll ask:

What service you booked (or help you choose one if you’re unsure)
Your polish preference (regular, gel, dip, etc.)
If you have any allergies, sensitivities, or concerns

We’re here to listen, so don’t be afraid to speak up about your preferences or nail goals!

💅 During Your Service

Depending on what you booked (manicure, pedicure, gel, dip, etc.), your technician will walk you through each step. Here’s what you can expect:

For Manicures:

Nail shaping & cuticle care
Light buffing for smooth surface
Optional soak (depending on service)
Polish application (base, color, top coat)
Quick-dry drops or LED curing for gel

For Pedicures:

Warm foot soak
Callus and heel care
Exfoliation and foot massage
Nail trimming, shaping, and polish

You’ll be seated in a clean, comfortable station or spa chair, and we sanitize all tools between every client.

🧴 Cleanliness & Safety

Your health and safety are our top priorities. We follow strict sanitation protocols, including:

One-time use disposable tools when needed
Hospital-grade disinfectants
Sterilized metal tools
Clean towels and liners for each client

💬 Aftercare & Advice

Once your nails are dry (or cured), we’ll share:

Aftercare tips to make your mani or pedi last longer
Recommended products for home care (like cuticle oil or foot cream)
How often to come in for touch-ups or maintenance
